The first Kraków’s Aces contest has now been launched. The aim of the competition is to recognise the city’s best office projects and to showcase them as among its greatest assets. Developers that operate both locally and nationwide will compete for the titles of the greenest, most user-friendly or most interesting office facilities, as chosen by companies operating on Kraków’s BSS market. Due to its wide time frame this is a unique event – buildings completed within the last five years are eligible for the awards.

The results of the contest will be announced at a meeting of the representatives of Kraków’s modern business services sector, which is to take place on December 5th 2017 at Kraków City Hall. On this day the event participants will also be able to vote for their favourite projects. The Grand Prix title will be awarded to the building that receives the most votes.

The contest is being held in cooperation with the City of Kraków. The company responsible for the organisation of the event is Eurobuild Conferences.

Discussion
A million and what next? Discussion about the development of the office market

The office space in Kraków has exceeded 1 mln sqm. A high supply of new offices and quite a strong appetite from tenants create favourable conditions for the development of the economy and the job market. However, other cities have been developing just as dynamically. In what fields should Kraków look for its competitive advantage? What industries to focus on? How should the city shape its pro-development policy in order to effectively compete for new jobs?
