Axis, B4B Bonarka for Business (building F) and Equal Business Park (building B) are the winners of the Kraków’s Aces poll which was organized by the City Hall of Kraków and Eurobuild Conferences.
The best office facilities in Kraków were announced during a gala organized at the City Hall of Kraków on the 5th of December. The winners were chosen in an online voting, which was conducted among BSS companies.
The award ceremony was preceded by a discussion concerning the development of the office market in the city, which was attended by developers (Marta Wybrańska from Avestus Real Estate, Radosław Jurek from Grupa Pawo), office agents (Anna Galicka-Bieda from Colliers International, Monika Sudecka-Karaś from Knight Frank and Włodzimierz Jędruszak from Fisheye Properties) as well as a representative of the City Hall of Kraków (Rafał Kulczycki from the City Development Department).
Green Office Facility
Two office buildings in Kraków were entered in the green office facility category. The first prize went to B4B Bonarka for Business (building F) located at ul. Puszkarska 7K in Kraków. The building was opened in June 2016 and its useable area amounts to 14,239 sqm – 100 pct of the area is occupied by offices. The facility holds a BREAM Interim Certificate with a Very Good rating (61.7 pct). The facility was developed by TriGranit.
The second prize went to the Aleja Pokoju 5 office building, the developer of which was Grupa Buma.
User-Friendly Office Facility
The most buildings were entered in the user-friendly facility category. The winner was the Axis office building, the opening of which took place in October 2016. The investor and developer of the facility is Skanska Property Poland. The building is located at ul. Przy Rondzie 5 in Kraków. Its useable area amounts to 25,369 sqm, 80 pt of which is earmarked for offices.
The second prize in this category went to Korona Office Complex, the investor and developer of which is GTC. The third prize went to Enterprise Park – Avestus Real Estate and Tristan Capital Partners are the investor and the developer of the facility.
Most Interesting Office Facility
The winner of the most interesting office facility category in Kraków is Equal Business Park (building B), which was developed by Cavatina Holding. Architects Mariusz Chrobak and Piotr Jasiński from Cavatina Architects were responsible for the architectural design. The opening of the building took place in July 2017, the facility is located at ul. Wielicka 28 in Kraków’s Podgórze district. The useable area of the office building amounts to 23,892 sqm, 68.4 pct of which has been earmarked for offices.
According to the voting, the second most interesting office facility in Kraków is Pilot Tower, the investor of which is Fprop Kraków and the developer of which is UBM Polska. The third prize went to the BENACO office building – the investor and developer of which is BENACO.
A voting for the best office facility in the Grand Prix category took place during the meeting held at the City Hall of Kraków on the 5th of December. The voting included three victorious projects in the three above categories and, like before, votes were cast by representatives of BSS companies. The Grand Prix title went to Equal Business Park (building B), which made it a double winner in the Chief Asset of Kraków 2017 poll.
